I swear....I follow the instructions to a "T".....but alot of these MOD's won't work.....so here I am.
Ok.....I did just what this guys said for the FAQ MOD:
From the .txt file. ______________________________
Download and extract to your forum folder, open mod_dbsetup.asp in your web browser and choose 'Faq Modification' from the drop down menu and click 'update'. Then add a link to admin_faq.asp from admin_home.asp and your set to go!

Sounded easy......but:
1) the MOD never showed up in the mod_dbsetup.asp so I couldn't "update"
2) I have an error message now on my FAQ page.....

Nothing was said in the .txt file about adding any tables to my database.....and I've never done it yet.....so not sure what to do....
It sounds to me like you didn't read the instuctions correctly.
It told you to load mod_dbsetup.asp but you used Mod setup from the admin, which uses the newer admin_mod_dbsetup.asp which requires a different filename format.
