I get this error:
########################################################### Error Type: Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80040E14) The INSERT INTO statement contains the following unknown field name: 'M_AVATAR_URL'. Make sure you have typed the name correctly, and try the operation again. /forum/register.asp, line 506
Browser Type: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)
Page: POST 301 bytes to /forum/register.asp
POST Data: Refer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dndhost.com%2Fforum%2Fadmin_home.asp&Email=chris48178@yahoo.com&Email2=chris48178@yahoo.com&ICQ=&YAHOO=&AIM=&Photo_URL=&Avatar_URL=noavatar.gif&Bio=&Quote=&Name=testev&Password= . . . ######################################################
It appears to have something to do with the Avatar 2.0 Mod. That BTW is the only other mod installed.
Here is register.asp for anyone who would like to help: http://www.dndhost.com/register.txt
Thanks, Chris

Anyone?
Surely, someone has gotten them both to work together.

you need to add the M_AVATAR_URL field to the MEMBERS_PENDING table. |

I am using Access 2000. I am quite new at this, not much Access experience either. Do I just insert a column? Does it matter where?
I backed it up, and am giving it a try. Please respond even if I am lucky...uh...I mean....right. It may help someone else later.

OK, new error:
Error Type: Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005) Field 'FORUM_MEMBERS_PENDING.M_FIRSTNAME' cannot be a zero-length string. /forum/register.asp, line 506
There is a field, M_FIRSTNAME, I am not sure what it means by zero-length string.

That topic doesn't cover this error:
Error Type: Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005) Field 'FORUM_MEMBERS_PENDING.M_FIRSTNAME' cannot be a zero-length string. /forum/register.asp, line 506
Like I said, if I have every option in the Member Details Configuration set to 'ON', it works.

If you open the database in Microsoft Access, then open the FORUM_MEMBERS_PENDING table in Design View, you can edit the properties of the fields.
The property that needs to be edited is Allow Zero Length. You just need to set it to Yes. |
