Compared the lang-files with what? Do you mean that some of the lang-files aren't correctly translated? The lang-files in the AU-mod only covers the words used by the mod, nothing else.

Take a look to the org au mod lang file from Active Users 40_18.zip.

If users ad this mod or dont have some skill to see the truble in there lang files this ran to trules to missing text string or think that is a fault to there new mod.
I realy want Natan fix the other langfile not all people understan what there is habend here.
To day i can only say the lang 1033 is complete or the other lang is incomplete or i have only compare this i have to add not the rest of the files becourse i use another ( images ) langfile or dont understan other languery, but i can read us/uk or understan it, mybi not write this verry well.
I have past the 1033 here if other mish the string here only coppy this to there lang file or translate this to ther languery.

Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a000d'
Type mismatch: 'fLang'
/forum/admin_home.asp, line 127
any idea where i went wrong? |

serritzlev, the lang-file 1033 is the english language file. It only contains english words. If you want to use danish, you should use the file named 1030, which contains the words in danish. That file is fully translated, thanks to Kim Keller Rasmussen.
If a user forgets to add the internationalization code into config.asp, the lang-strings will be empty and nothing will be displayed when using a lang-string. |

You shouldn't post that here, as that is a mod implementation error. It has been posted a lot of times before, and is easily found by a search in Help: MOD Implementation forum.
You missed to add the internationalization code into config.asp. Look at the end of the readme-file which covers that. |

I have recently noticed as administrator, logged in, then had an annoying power interuption to my adsl 4 port router onlt and ever since i can not get my username to remove from the active users even though it shows i am not logged in at the time at the top of the forum. I have re logged in and out and still the same, I have removed all cookies in IE6,logged in and out, no avail.
Doing a bit of searching through forum, I have noticed the IP address shown in the active users ended with 48 and displays i am still logged on., but when i have logged in now, in my profile I have an IP last ip ending of 237... Is there a some reset solution to get the initial log in, logged off.. Maybe this will help to get the active user username to remove.. The forum works ok when I have another username log in and out from same 4 port network, but it still shows my username all the time and it still shows the Ip address ending with the newer 237..
???
Any help would be appreciated..

Just for interest I have managed to sort it.. Download database file, amend IP details in the FORUM_ACTIVE_USERS table..and set the 1 to -1 (false) in first column

Update: That only changes the entry from a member to a guest. Still, if it helped, that's good . |

I noticed through reading the posts in this topic (I did not read them all) that inc_functions.asp is referenced... indicating this is for an old version of snitz.
Is this compatible with 3.4.05? |

Jan, I looked longer and got the answer to my own question. I have successfully installed the birthday mod already, and now I am going to try the active users mod. I hope it goes as smooth, I just want to make sure I download the right one.

Yes, but it is also compatible with 3.3-versions of the forum. The mod contains instructions and files for both 3.3.XX and 3.4.XX forums.
