AS a test, we used a dummy name to mimic a common error: user forgets to enter his password in the NT pop up box. we entered just the name, then OK. Now, when we go back to the default page, it doesn't let us try again and enter the correct password, instead, it says "doesn not accept password of zero length" it lets us view the forum thru other urls, but not post of course because we're not logged in. we deleted all cookies already.

After finally finding the right word combo to search for on this board (zero-length pulled up the answers i needed), I figured out how to fix my problem:
1. update to Access 2000 www.snitz.info ? i think the link is 2. go to FORUM_MEMBERS table, password, allow zero-length
just as a future reference for you guys who search in the NT section first for this problem
