Here's a question for everyone.

I'm just starting to learn VB 6 and I was wondering if I should continue or just move over to VB.net. Will whatever I learn of VB 6 be transferable to VB.net? If so, I'd like to continue with VB 6 for backward compatibility and move over to VB.net whenever it becomes more widely used.

If VB.net is totally different, would it be better just to learn that from the start and forget about VB6?

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ken

There wont be so many changes between VB and VB.NET that you will have to relearn everything. You might have to get used to a few ney functions and some slightly changed syntax but that is not hard to do. VB is VB
