I have a form which inserts itself a news update page and database. I am interested in adding a format toolbar which inserts Tags into the form like the one used when posting a new topic on a snitz forum if possible can some one tell me how its done and if possible send me the code if thats ok with you guys a snitz! I think its maybe Javascript?

You can look at the code that Snitz uses in inc_functions.asp and inc_post_buttons.asp

But remember if you use it then that code falls under the snitz licence which requires "powered by Snitz Forums 2000" to appear in the footer.

It looks a bit too deep for me I was hoping for somthing a bit simpler.
