Hi all,
I am still a novice with ASP so please ignore my probaly stupid questions.
People on my forum can receive an email notification if they wish (this works, no problem) and they receive a message telling them that there is poted a new topic or reply (depending on their preferences).
I am guessing that one of the forum ASP-files is reading data (the subject) from the database and sends this to all subscribers. The header (the actual message) is also in the database and could be added to the message the same way.
If this is possible then the member will receive the subject plus the message without the need to go to the forum and have a look.
Question:
Is this possible? If yes, which ASP-files handle these ( and which?)commands? I would like to have a pointer (or a completed solution....) so that I can configure my forum to send what I like.
Help?
Ciao,
Bert
