As you said the version 4b3 is based on version 3.3.03.
Can I change the file config.asp(v3.3.03)with config.asp(v4b3) and add some files that the version 3.3.03 don't have?(langMOD...) Then will it change to version 4b3?

4.0bx might be based on version 3.3.03, but all the files are different. You cant just change the config.asp to make a 3.3.03 into a 4.0bx

Can you please explain what you are trying to do? Do you have a modded v3.3.03 forum running and you want to upgrade it to v4.x? Or what?

Yes, I want the mods in version 3.3.03 can work in version 4b3.
I also upgraded Active User 3.5 (Nathan) to version 4b3 and it works well.
Example:

In addition, when I compare by contain of some files between v3.3.03 and v4b3. I found that the code of them were the same.(You know the different between them, one has strLangActive_User00100 in the code and the other has the statement.)
That's why I asked the question.

Yes the code is basically the same, although I changenged some parts of it where phrases are divided among the code (see statistics part of default.asp and in a couple more places). Also there are inc_language.asp, LangNNNN.asp files, last part of the config.sys etc. This is to keep the code in parallel with the current development in v3.x.
After v3.4 comes out, the strings will be collected again and the code will also remain the same, again except in some places.
After this point, we will start to change the code to add more internationalization specific code.
Currently, internationalization of MODs can use the strLangLCID variable for decisions and use LangMODs.asp file for language strings, as you did.
