Normally, all mods that work with V3.3 are working with V4Beta, but they are not internationalized.
I think, that only a couple of mods have been internationalized for testing purposes.
Currently, the main work is done with the forum itself.
Look in this forum, for the translated mods.

Why don't you upload them here:
http://www.ls3k.com/snitz/mods.asp#
or here:
http://freeaspcode.net/snitz/
On the first one you'll find the follwing mods ready for v4b3:
- signature preview
- sticky topic

COuld you upload for us soon, Basse? - I´m taking a look on it for implementation with RTE 1.3 - sure would be cool to have that internationalized straight away - cool if you could upload it at LS3k.com/snitz, since it displayes compatible version

When I upgrade ls3k mods (RTE, Advanced Color Control, Active Users 3.5) for version 3.4 I will be also internationalizing them. Which will mean they will be (hopfully) ready for version 4.0b4

Befor too many mods are internationalized for version 4.0b4 though, I think we need to come up with some sort of the string naming convention so that mod string names dont conflict.

I already use the following naming convetion.

strLangModLs3kACC0010

str <-- stands for string
Lang <-- stands for language
Mod <-- designates the string is part of a module
Ls3k <-- Unique ID of mod creator. Community projects like Active users should have a generic designation like “Snitz”
ACC <-- designates mod. ACC stood for Advanced Color Control
0010 <-- each string has an ID incremented by 10 to allow for futre updates.
comments?

I once wrote some guidelines on v4 compatible mods and provided two different ways of implementing, one for small sized mods, the other multi-file large mods.

I'll try to re-compile them and post here in a couple of days and also discuss the provided solution.

I have started compiling some loose module makers FAQ, so I would very much like to see your methods.

One discussion is here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17998

Unfortunately I could not find the exact guideline on my old test forum database now. I'll check again "tomorrow" (6:20am here:)

Great. But these are not exactly about "How To Write v4 Compatible Mods". I must have written them into another place...

Hmm, these guidelines seem to be a good start for writing mods.
Join them together and add some things specific for mods and you're off (I hope )
