Hi there,
My ISP is trying to set up a db for me in SQL7. He is having troubles with authenication. This is the issue;
"The SQL Server was registered with NT users authentication. I have an option to edit that registration to SQL authentication. First, I have setup an SQL account account in SQL login manager with permissions as an administrator to all. After that, I've tried to edit SQL registration to SQL authentication and I'm getting error with a message:
" Autentication failed. The login name is not associated with trusted SQL Server connection."
Does anyone know a way around this one ?
Thanks, Martin.

Yea,
Tried those but I could fish anything out. The trouble is that I have no access to the server and no idea about SQL7. I am a user trying to get a db hooked up. The ISP is doing everything he can as well but we are both stuck !
Thanks, Martin.

Ah, You should seek consulting from Casey Hart. He is somewhere in the Midwestern US, last I heard. I'd give you more info, but I cannot help you. If you can find Casey Hart, he has the talent and skills to help you.
