Is there a place on this site that has a basic faq on NT Authentication? More specifically how it works.

I have not had a chance to try it yet, but I am looking to do so. I am wondering if it will be doing what I think it will. If I have this in my head correctly, will new users have a new Domain Accoutn created for them? Or does an existing account have to be established?

In the near future, I will be setting up a seperate virtual host on the same machine and attempting to try this out. But I was wondering if I could get a little more familiar with it before I let anything make any changes to my current Active Directory Setup.

Need to have account created beforehand.

This is mustly for Intranets not Internet. For places with a domain and accounts alreadyfor all there people.

Create the user account first.
Let the user log in or you log in as the user.
Then, set the email address for the user.

An advanced feature might be to create a page that lets you add users to your domain and snitz forum at the push of a button.
