                      | This is a much easier to use weather mod! I used the thing available at weather.com! 1) New Weather Mod
 2) 1
 3) 3.3.03
 4) Access 2k
 5) compsandmore
 6) webmaster@compsandmore.com
 7) download link: http://freewhost.techinferno.com/weather.zip
 8) http://compsandmore.com (on there, it's on my portal, which I made, but in the zip file, it tells you how to set it up so that it's part of default.asp, just like private messages, etc...)

                      | Where can I find the demo? I checked your website, and I see the weather box where we can input the zipcode. Once zip code submitted, it'll take us to the a page at www.weather.com. Is that how it supposed to work?

In these days of computer viruses, asking if you may put your disk into someone's computer is the technological equivalent of unsafe sex.

                      | I thought it was just me... The one on my test site pulls the City And State from the user DB and displays it when you login.
He states it's for Access 2k but I don't see any reason for access... You just put a zip code in and it takes you to http://www.weather.com

                      | Isn't this the same as saying "I made a MOD to search at Google from your forums" and then just use the script everyone can download at Google.com? |

this is a good start, many users are asking for a weather feature.

maybe we can pull out the city of the user from the db and display the weather in the page? I'll check weather.com and see what can be done.

checked weather.com. it's hard to do the above trick as they use code for cities.

                      | FLASVT and I are working on a new weather mod that will show the members local weather when they log in. I know there is one that is sortta like this but you have to reg for the service with the person that made the MOD. This one just runs. It is almost ready for release in the next week or so.
