Ok, maybe I'm missing something...
Is there a way to control what columns are viewed?
I've got: Forum | Topic | Posts | Moderator(s) |
and the last column has various icons...
Is there a way to not show a particular column...I've been through the Admin options, but don't see anything, beyond the "don't show Moderators" option.??

The only control you have over columns showing is the moderator column.
Even if you turn the moderator column off. . . the admins and moderators still see it.

Sorry, currently the only column that can be turned on or off is the Moderators one as you've already discovered.
Users who are not set to Admin however do not see the last column with all the Admin icons in it. So just a regular member (with show moderators off) would see the following columns
Forums, Topics, Posts, Last Post

No, that is incorrect. Take a look at the forums here and you'll see that the last column in which the admin icons are placed for admins/moderators do have two (sometimes 3) icons for regular members too:  ,  and  or  .

Good point, I was looking at it without being logged in to the forums at all in which case no icons appear in that last column (well on my boards anyway)

The icon options change depending on who is logged on.
Not a Member - No Icons
Members - View archived topics, Subscribe/unsubscribe, New Topic
Admins - Lock,edit,delete,[NewForum],NewLink,Archive
Moderators Get there Icon options depending on authorization.
