When new users register they encounter the following message -->

"Username may not contain the word"

FileName = register.asp?mode=DoIt

Everything was working fine until I attempted a fileattachment install mod.

I would imagine therfore that you have added the code in the wrong place, re exaamine what you added to registration.asp and inc_profile.asp

I checked both files and there were no changes. Furthermore I went back and imported a version that worked.

Could an Include added to the config.asp file have created a problem?

Check your Bad Word list in the Bad Word Configuration. Make sure the list doesn't end with the | pipe.
