Before we use Snitz Forums 2000 I have 2 questions:
First, we don't necessarily want users to enter a username and password to utilize the Snitz forum. Can we "code out" this functionality?
Second, will administrators be able to first preview a post for inappropriate content BEFORE it gets posted?

Yes, search for the Anonymous_Acess mod

Yes, you can set your forum to be moderated. The topics need to be viewed by Moderators/Admins before they finally display.
In these days of computer viruses, asking if you may put your disk into someone's computer is the technological equivalent of unsafe sex. |

Thanks Kenno,
I did a search on Anonymous_Mod and I read the discussions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but is that Mod only available to a specific version of Snitz Forums (v.3.0.3) and not later versions? I believe I have downloaded the latest version (just yesterday) so perhaps this mod will not work for me?

Also, just to clarify:
Is this statement correct:
Forums can be either monitored or unmonitored - Adminstrator will be able to configure this using existing admin tools.

The Anonymous Access Mod, is a hard mod to install for newbies. So I installed it on a copy of the Snitz Forums along with my other mods. And the latest version of the forums is 3.3.03. That is what Anonymous Access mod is installed on. The latest version.
The mod is a copy of the Snitz Forum with the mod installed on it. It's not just a few files, it's the entire forum. So you don't have to install anything. quote:

Yes. You can set the moderation On/Off for each forum.
