The new version seems to load very, very slow. I'm using Access 2000 and the following script in the config.asp file (similar to the one I used with the older version): strConnString = "dsn=dsnForums" Does anyone have a clue as to the problem
I also used DSN in the previous version, and that functioned very well. Even with 5000 visitors a day and a 15MB access-database it all went very fast... But the new version takes for ever, even with 1 user (me) and 5 messages in total. So something is slowing it down, but I do not have a clue what it is.
Are there things that I could disable for a while, so I can test what is causing the problems? I already disabled the e-mail, but that didn't help.
I have translated the program to Dutch, could that have caused a problem somehow (even though I did the same with the previous version)?
