I have been told that I do not have the most recent version of Snitz running (http://www.sandmountain-nv.org/Snitz/default.asp), but when I hover over the snitz logo, I see that I am at 3.3.03. Can someone confirm what version I am on? If it is not the most recent, are there upgrade instructions anywhere (I have looked, but couldn't find anything)?

Thanks,

Crowdog

3.3.03 is the most current version of Snitz Forum, but you have the international version.

It's good to do the Impossible, But it's no longer call the impossible when it's doable.

You`re using V4 Beta (you could choose your language in the upper right box). This version does show V3.303 when hovering over the graphic, cause this wasn`t changed so far.
V4 and V3.3 are using the same code, except the multilanguage support.

Should I install the US version?

The only problem I have is assigning Moderators.

I went ahead and downloaded the US version (Snitz Forums 2000 v3.3.03) from Snitz Download page.

I removed all of the files in my "Snitz" directory, and modified config.asp with the correct DB pointers. Everything works, but I am still running the International version. I tried to redo this and came up with the same results.

Can someone tell me what idiotic thing I didn't do? I know it has to be something simple.

Here is my forum: http://www.sandmountain-nv.org/Snitz/default.asp

Thanks,

Alright, I still can't figure this out.

My site is hosted on a friends business server. I was able to upgrade a snitz forum for one of my web sites just fine, but this one doesn't get the new code and I don't understand why.

I can remove the entire Snitz directory, and this thing still works. It must be pointing to some other code, but I have searched and came up empty. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Go into the server variables in the admin section, check out the APPL_PHYSICAL_PATH.

This way you can confirm that you are deleting the correct snitz folder.

I dont know, but the server might be cashing them?

The server must have had the code cached somewhere. I rebooted the server, and it was all fixed....
