Hi all.. I cannot get admin_mod_dbsetup.asp to work to save my life. What a nightmare. In fact, it makes me have to restart my browser (IE 6) each time i press it. I never get an error, it just never loads. therefore, for each of my MODs I am building the databases myself. ugh. Any ideas why this might be happening to me?

Do you have a virus scanner turned on? Try turning it off. If that helps, turn it back on and try to disable script blocking.
I don't know what else it could be other than that.

Do you have Norton Antivirus? If you do you have to disable the script blocking.
It's good to do the Impossible, But it's no longer call the impossible when it's doable. |

I know this might sound weird, but if you're testing locally, try copying all files to a new directory (don't name it the same as the current one) and then try again with an admin_mod_dbsetup.asp straight from the ZIP file.
That's helped me once too... I can't promise that that'll work but it's worth a try.
If you have that problem on your forums and they're online, then try uploading admin_mod_dbsetup.asp again. Make sure it's uploaded as ASCII and not as Binary.

I finally figured it out. Just disabling Norton Antivirus didn't work, and actually, in the ned, i got to keep it on. But I did have to disable script blocking. And that seems to solve the problem. Thanks, everyone, for your help. This is definitely an issue I think should be addressed in the Snitz FAQ somewhere.
Thanks again, KC
