Could possibly be, that this was already fixed.
In pop_config_help.asp line 597 this string is not inserted into the lang file "What colors may I use?" edit: this was solved before
Also, what`s about all the color names? edit: fix is below
Thats from the latest sourceforge download available there. Can anyone provide a link, where I can download V4.02 Beta with the latest bugfixes?

The colour names are not done yet. This was is planned to be corrected in the next beta. After the site crash, the info on the patches are not available, so does the link on my old signatures, as the signatures are not dynamic. I'll compile another beta ASAP from the up2date version.

I'm not sure on this. I aggree that you need to change YOUR country name but, the country names are different in every language. But how does somebody from a country know how it is called in Turkish for example? Just for example:
Let's assume I have a forum in Turkish and German, and a user from other countries like to join in:
These are translations of some country names in Turkish:
Germany = Almanya United States of America = Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Swiss = İsviçre
I'm a bit confused with these...

Uups, you`re right. I think, we should insert every country in it`s mother tongue, meaning:
Germany = Deutschland Italy = Italia Spain = Espana etc.
So, everybody can search for the language he/she understands and can choose it. Like it`s done with the language selection.

Yes, i know a ressource for that. But there a some problems with that.
1. The site is in German. 2. You must click on every single country to have a look at (takes a while with 192 countrys on earth) 3. Don`t know, how the country names should be written. Example: Turkey = Türkiye Çumhuriyeti, meaning Rebuplic Turkey (right?) This is a little bit confusing.
I will look, if I find a simplier list and mail it to you.

Perhaps it is better to put the country names in the language file as is (meaning in English) and let every Language file "corrects" it for their home language. As you may see that there may also be problem with special characters.
BTW: It's called Türkiye Cumhuriyeti (Republic of Turkey), as official name, but its usually used as Türkiye.

Hmmm....have already thought about the special characters but couldn`t find a answer to it.
I don`t know, which way is the better one, using all languages in one list or using one language for showing all names. Should be a thing, to discuss about.

This left only one of the problems:

As everybody knows CIA is not a good resource for information. Our country name is not spelled correctly in local language . It had to be Türkiye instead of Turkiye.

I don't remember when it was inserted but I forgot to mention that at that time. I'm sure this is correct in v40b03 (=v40b02patch003).
strLangPop_Config_Help01285 = "*What colors may I use?" '"What colors may I use?"
