It would be nice to see a forum here devoted to "officially planned updates". The forum would list (by topic) all the enhancements that have been "approved" and or in-progress. This way discussions about the particular enhancements can be done as well as head off people developing new features if they are already being worked on by someone else.
Good idea, but people still want their own mods which are not going into the main code. But it would be a good idea to split them up, maybe have an official and unofficial Mods

That's kind of what this forum is. If a mod is considered popular, it will make it's way into the main forum code at some point. This is just an odd time because Mike is trying to get to one stable version and then he wants to do the "internationalization", then setting up the style sheets. These will fall into version 3.2 and then once that is determined to be stable, THEN he'll start adding the other mods into the code. It's just a matter of priority.
