I have a so-called mod if anyone is interested!!
It is a "right-click menu"

Go to my forum and right click on it!!

If anyone is interested in it..post a message in the forum or email me!!

Also, if you see any errors let me know also!!

If no errors I will post a download link!!

Looks pretty sweet! The only thing is that I was expecting it to disappear once I left clicked anywhere else, other than the menu - just like the regular windows right click menu would.

I just wonder how many people would think of right clicking to get a menu on a web page.

Warning box pops up and tells me:

Line 48
Expected ";"

Cool idea, you should post the code.

I pretty much get what the others are getting, but like the idea of code for the right click. Only other thing is it opens a new window instead of in the same window.

Wow, that is so cool! What a way to save valuable space. The only thing is, as work mule said, is how to get visitors/members to know how to work it.

I too would like to see the code for that.

Of course (wish list) I would really like to see that you could click anywhere in the cell when it turns that active grey color.

Any way that would be possible?

there are several versions of this type of menu at various dhtml sites. to just name a few...

http://www.dhtmlshock.com/site-navigation/RightClickMenu/default.asp

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/contextmenu2.htm

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/contextmenu.htm

http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/pop-up/popmenu.htm

I have seen the source that quietstorm is using and if I remember correctly it was reported as not stable but I can't find the site.

quietstorm... don't take this the wrong way but I cannot find the authors copyright in this script and that is usually quite important to have....

Dayve and all!!

I just got back from an emergency at my home state today!!

I checked with my friend that gave me the "so-called" script for the menu..
he confessed and got it from dynamicdrive and I am removing it from
here as a "mod" and my site!!

(You can't trust friends NO more!!!)
Sorry folks and hope no one is offended like I am!!

no worries, it happens... I am just a huge supporter of developers that provide free scripts such as Snitz and DHTMLCentral (Thomas Brattli)
