when i try to sumit new Category with out name.

When i try to sumit a new Category i get this message:

Microsoft JET Database Engine fejl '80004005'

The field 'FORUM_REPLY.R_STATUS' cannot contain a Null value because the Required property for this field is set to True. Enter a value in this field.

This must be a bug can someone fix it please ???

That's not a bug. You probably converted your Access 97 database to 2000, which caused that error.

aljish, you can't create a new category with out a name.
And the message that appered would have been an error message.
Sounds like normal functionality to me.
