Hi,

Does anyone know whether there is a way to either detect or prevent page refreshing?

Thanks,

Well it was a fairly straightforward question so I thought that would do it - bit busy round 'ere atm

Anyway, that link just about says it all and confirms what I suspected...

Luckily I have found a way round it!

Hope Industry Forum went ok

It isn't live yet. I had to rewrite a lot of it - mainly the back end as it wasn't stable. It has been finished for a couple of weeks and will go live shortly. The solo training trip to London was fun.

If you have found a way around the refresh issue, wouldn't it be useful to the community if you posted it?

Other folks may want to use the same method and may also be too busy to find the answer themselves. No sense reinventing the wheel don't you agree?

Ah well, nevermind - that sort of thing happens when you have to rush it...

All my projects now have full specifications and thorough testing by a team of qualified testers so I don't have that problem any more.

Unfortunately my solution in this instance is quite specific to this project so it won't be much use to others.

What a shame.
