I just want to thank everybody for helping me on this forum and letting me help others afterwards. When I started to learn ASP and web/database related things, I found this site (linked from asp-dev - a very nice coincidence) and learned too much from here.
I've just got my 3rd star indicating I've 500 posts (didn't sent to test forums too much). I know actually it will rise to 1000 with very much acceleration, whenever the international version comes out. To prevent this I'll try to compile a completely rock-stiff version with good documentation.
I have to say that the only reason I know anything about ASP is because of this forum code. I've created a number of cool ASP additions to the site, and am revamping the entire site to be database driven sometime in the distant future. Pretty great place to interact and learn...not just about the forums!
When I first came here, I had done nothing with ASP but I knew VB and HTML. My boss wanted forums and wanted our login system integrated with them. So I had to learn.
Thanks to all the wonderful people here, especially HuwR, I managed to achieve what was required. That was nearly a year ago and I have done loads of projects (including 5 forums) since then on a fairly large scale. I am now trying to pass some of my knowledge onto others.
Second that, installing and customsing Snitz has been absolutely wonderful for learning ASP :) The help you guys provide here on the board is truly invaluable.
