Please bear with me as I am a complete novice here, and maybe a touch too ambitious. Ive set up my free Brinkster hosting, unzipped my snitz files, made the changes as instructed in the help page by Spoon. Now I want to upload into me directory. Is it correct me having to upload all them files in batches of 5....or have I messed up somewhere. Also Ive come here because if Im doing right so far, Ive come across 2 files that timeout.......how do I stop this? Please please help.....Im having a nitemare and pulling my hair out......

chill, save your hair. if you sign you for the free hosting, you can only upload 5 files at a time. and timeouts will happen on brinkster so just calm down and have fun with snitz

I tried the 2 files that keep timing out again, and brinkster tells me to set "Server.ScriptTimeout" to =60. How and where do i do this? So far the 2 files giving me problems are; admin_forums admin_count thanx

Actually, Server.ScriptTimeout is probably already in those 2 files.
Just open those 2 files and search for Server.ScriptTimeout and change the existing values to 60. |
