I apologize in advance if this has been addressed recently.. I searched for an answer and didnt find anything I recognized as a cure...

Upon reading a topic if I attempt to go back to the forum the topic was posted in and NOT the root "All Forums" link I get the following error

Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e14'

Syntax error (missing operator) in query expression 'FORUM_CATEGORY.CAT_ID ='.

/forum/FORUM.asp, line 106

I was hoping someone has seen and resolved this error because I can't figure it out...

could you tell me what line 106 of your forum.asp is, mine is an include statement

Line 106 of my forum.asp also is the inc statement you mentioned...

I am not quite sure why.. But after reading another persons post about the subscribing system(as far as enabling in the forum areas themselves as opposed to the admin area) and changing some of the settings there... The problem I described earlier does NOT occur anymore... Possibly I turned on the subscription system just not "all the way?" I am not exactly sure why it is working now but its seems to be ok..
