Sounds like a version problem with the mod_dbsetup.asp file.

Are you using the admin_mod_dbsetup.asp file that came with v3.3

For some reason the UPDATE is not working right.

Try creating a new file called dbs_messageicons3.asp

Here is what should be in that file:

Message Icons Update
[UPDATE]
TOPICS
T_MSGICON#1#
[END]
[UPDATE]
REPLY
R_MSGICON#1#
[END]

Then run MOD Setup again and choose Message Icons Update from the dropdown.

No, updating the database isn't affected by not having the .asp pages edited yet.

Must be something in the admin_mod_dbsetup.asp file.

Are you using MS Access or MS SQL (or MySQL) ?

If not, if you e-mail me you Brinkster Username/password, I'll update your database for you if you'd like.
