When using autologin, unfortunately the email field is left blank, causing the next new user to receive an error saying their email address is already in use. It would be handy if it could create the enail as username@specified_domain.

Has anyone else experienced this problem, and found a solution?

thanks :)

An easy way around the error is to set the "Require Unique Email" option to "Off". This means that all new users will start with a blank e-mail address.

I intend on populating member's email addresses with a known format based on the user name, but have not got around to this yet.
If you'd like to do this there are some pointeres in the following topic:

Hope it helps,
Kym.

Had the exact same problem back in February, posted it here and got an answer, however on searching the archive my post is there but not the response http://forum.snitz.com/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=5267

Why is that Mr Moderator? does the archive only include Topic and not responses or am I missing something?

The link above to an archived topic works fine now, thanks to whoever fixed it.
