I am gettign the following error when I try to run setup.asp on a fresh install:

error '80004004'
/forum/config.asp, line 39

I believe line 39 is:

Session.LCID = 1033 '## Do Not Edit

This is the third fresh install I've done with ver. 33_02. Thanx for any help in advance.

The LCID is a locale identifier that determines the time zone and language rules for the system. It is very unusual for it not to be installed in your server. Try installing the component if you are running the forum on your own server.

Otherwise try deleting that line and see if things work. Give it a try anyway.

I am running Peer Web Server 3.0 on a stand alone computer with NT 4.0. I am using it to test the webpage before uploading it to a server running IIS 4.0. How would I install the LCID component on PWS? Oh, And THANK YOU for your help and quick response. It's much appreciated.

I dont actaully know how you install it, but if you go to the install options in NT 4 (in control panel i think) you should be able to add components and stuff. Try it out and keep me posted :)
