This is a standard feature, just edit the topic when lgged in as admin or a moderator of the relevant forum, and change the forum in the drop down box to the required forum.

That is not possible. (= it hasn't been coded yet and no plans to code it soon)

Gor, while we are on this topic, a few weeks ago I moved a forum to another category.
All the topics in that moved forum were erased (to the software's credit, the counts were updated correctly).
Is this intended behavior? If so, perhaps a warning could be displayed saying this would happen...

No, this is not intended behavior, all the topics and replies should be moved along with the forum. What version was this, is this consistent behaviour (= can you show us your site where we can test it), any changes (MODS installed, translation) that might have affected you post_info.asp ?

I was using 3.1 SR4, with no mods. I doubt I could get this to happen again.
I was moving about 5 forums to a new category. The next step was over to the admin panel and update counts.
Then I went to the All Forums link and noticed all my topics were gone!
I sincerely doubt I can get this to happen again, since I have upgraded since then to 3.3.002+, but when I get some time I'll set up a test to see if I can do it again.
