After installing what I thought was a flawless upgrade to 3.3.002, I get this message when attempting to view a member profile:
--------------------------
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e21'

Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done.

/forum/pop_profile.asp, line 110
--------------------------

And this when I sent a topic to an email address, then attempted to open the link from the email.

--------------------------
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'AND'.

/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 1089
--------------------------

I double-checked my config.asp settings. They appear normal and all the other functions seem to be working. Any thoughts?

I fixed the above problem myself by

1) Commenting out lines 74-103, which were individual fields in the select
2) Inserting at line 74
strSQL = "SELECT *"

Any info as to why this would fix the problem? Would this be a configuration shortcoming of my host?

SQL 7 is what I am running. So maybe this is a bug in Snitz???

Perform the above steps. It will fix it until they release a patch.

Upgrading my MDAC to 2.61 fixed the problem. I am running SQL 2000 on Win2000.
