Hey everyone...
I am re-building a website for my father-in-law's race team. They used to use
a geocities guestbook, but they have changed format and are a waste of page space now. I am interested in a snitz forum, but my knowledge of .asp and database is limited.
I am vaguely familiar with MS Access, I have Access 2000.
How much hand coding is involved with using the snitz forum?
Is it an easy integration with MS FP2000?
How intricate is the database required?
My host uses Win 2000 servers, any special recommendations?
Should I be concerned with file size or server speed?
(We currently have 11 MB available, and the server speed is rated as Slow-Med)
Is this something that I should avoid because it is complicated? I am a very fast learner, but I've only been building webs for less than a year...
I am eager to learn how these puppies work, and I learn faster hands-on rather than from classes or books...
Just thought I should get a better idea of what Im jumping into!
