Just getting to grips with ver 3.3 but can't get the subscriptions working properly. I have changed the admin settings in Feature Configuration to all settings. The only one that seems to work is subscribe to whole board. Subscribe to topic/forum etc. don't seem to work for me - what am I missing?

Try editing the options for each category and board.
There is a dropdown with options and I believe by default they are set to not allow subscriptions.

When I choose any subscription option (in Feature Configuration) the change is posted but not done.
The setting is always "No Subscriptions Allowed".
Any ideas?

Replying to my own query....

STRSUBSCRIPTION configuration item was missing from the config_new table. Adding this it worked!

Database is MySQL.

got the same error with STRSUBSCRIPTION....
It works fine now...
Still I don't quite get what's the use of subscriptions...
What do I see on my Subscriptions????
