Hello,
is it right, that active topics are all!! posts which are posted after my last login either the thread is locked or not.
Or are active topics the topics which the most readers have read.

Is it right that hot topics are only the topics that recieved more than 20 replies.

by default yes, but the adminstrator can set that number in the Admin Options > Forum Features.
