Maybe it is just me, but I find it cumbersome dealing with all the .gif files in the /forum directory. I'd like to move them all into a subdirectory. If I do that, is there a parameter I can change somewhere so all the pages can find all the pics they needs?

you'll need to manually edit each page and insert the directory name you moved the image files to.
