Hello All,
I'm new to Snitz, have implemented it on a development environment. Everything works great.
I plan on using this for an Intranet discussion group for about 100 employees. I would like to add the following capability:
When a user adds a new topic, I would like to present a checkbox that will send a "worldwide" (internal mailing list) email so that everyone else in the company will know a new topic has been posted. Of course this should only occur with a new topic and not each reply thereafter. The purpose is mainly for an alert so that people will know something new (and possibly important) has been added to a forum.
Does anyone know of an existing mod that will do this? If not, can someone point me in the right direction to make the changes myself? I've created a few small web apps with ASP in the recent past, but nothing as complex as Snitz. Some of the code is a little hard to follow when you're not sure what you're looking for.
