That basically means that your database could not be written to.
You might try doing a search (from the Search link at the top right of this page) for Operation must use an updateable query. This is a very, very common error, and there are quite a few topics on it with a variety of solutions, as well.
Thanks much for the help. I sent word to my host and asked them to add read/write permission to my folder and db and now it is up and running. It is simply amazing to me how useful this snitz system is. I checked around for a number of different forum applications and this one is by far the best developed and supported.
