Hi everyone,
As someone who has relied on the Snitz community for some time for tech support in running my own Snitz forum site, I am now trying to give something back to the community and as well to any forum site operator.
I have made a mod to my snitz forum that will allow people to easily participate in a link exchange with my site. My goal in this is to share traffic amongst a whole network of sites, whereby the network is strengthened by the more sites sign up for it.
My forum site has very many categories of forums. One for just about any possible type of discussion. My idea is to put a link at the bottom of each of my forums to a different site that is more specifically related to the topic of that forum. So if you're forum is about Isuzu vehicles you might have a link at the bottom of my SUV forum.
This type of link is good for both sites. On your end, would would gain traffic through people that are already interested in the topic (since they are in the specific forum to begin with) and are cool with the idea of a forum (since that's what my site is about). The people that would click on your link are very linkely to read a good deal of your site, register, and become a good part of your community.
All that i'm asking in return is a reciprocal link on your site back to my page. Also, you will need to join the Yahoo! webring... but that's just for the easy administration, not really for the webring. I wouldn't expect anyone to put the ugly webring console on the main page of their site, but since Yahoo! requires it you could make some auxiliary page to stick it on.

The form to sign up is at http://www.internetforums.net/newsite.asp also, if you don't find a forum on my site that fits your site well, you can make a suggestion on that form for the forum I should add that suits your site.

I would love to sign up, but my hosting company sucks big harry ________. All my sites are down, my customers sites are down, and their site is down.

That sucks... what are you using... be sure to give them bad press.
I'm using Crystal Tech... at the suggestion of a post on this forum. I think AznKnight is using them. They kick ass.

I am actually about to switch to innerhos and resell their hosting service. If you have ever looked at their hosting you should check it out. Look at all the asp components they have installed. You get so much crap with their hosting you really cant pass it up.

Hi again,
I have received a very positive response to the idea of the link exchange. Well, as positive response as I could expect in two days.
I am still actively soliciting people to come on by and see what the network is all about.
I appreciate any support or feedback and value the input of the Snitz community. This community has so much to offer, it will be great for a site such as mine to offer the entire Snitz community (and other forum type communities) another way to get into the mainstream consciouness of the internet at large. This can only happen with your guys' support so please, at least give it a look. :)
