i get an ASP error.

it looks like some variables have been re-dimmed.

did u include config.asp twice?

if the portal has config.asp included, then remove the line from the links manager:

<!--#include file="config.asp"-->

Now it is changed a bit.

Earlier, i had that links_inc.asp now i have that portal file, inc_links.asp but the problems are as follows :-

1. the column of the table goes down and the links are not shown in the appropriate box . you may see it in the link.

2. When we click on the Top Categories, it shows page not found ! But when we click on sub categories that have a Url, it shows it.

Help me out please ! urgent.

I notice that the like for the topics has an extra directory. See the "forum" directory below?
http://www.desihome.org/portal/content/forum/links_showsub.asp?

and yet the sub cats do not have it...

http://www.desihome.org/portal/content/links_showall.asp?

so the answer may be that you have a setting wrong someplace.

O i know what you are saying .

Wait let me tell first what i have done. I have added this line at the top <table bgColor="<% =strTableBorderColor %>" border="0" cellpadding="1" cellspacing="1" width="100%"> to make the links manager show in the right place. because earlier it showed below

2. as u said w2kgamer, I think it tries to pick up the files from /forum directory when the name of my directory is different. So this might be the problem.. I'll hunt for it.. Thanks for looking.....

can you check again and give me some more ideas about what might be wrong on that site ?? please

I would appreciate it

thanks

Ok i am glad you posted w2gamer... because that WAS the problem and i fixed it . !!

i was just getting upset for nothing! now i am calm aaaaahhhhhhhh

Everything is working fine.. Would you do me a favor ? check out what is not working fine please ? on http://www.desihome.org/portal

i would appreciate it..

And to the MOD DEVELOPERS :-- Kindly specify in your MOD that it is made for the forums that are in /forum directory. If someone has a different directory name, that individual should change some stuff inside the .asp pages of the MOd

thanks

Sal.
