I recently deleted a forum on my message board by mistake and needless to say all the posts went with it. The thing is, I still have the .mdb about a day before it was deleted. Is there anyway to retrieve the information and have it like an archive where people can view but cant post.

why wouldn't you want users to post?

anyway, just setup config.asp to use the backed up database file and change all the forums (by clicking the button next to the category) to be locked. this way, only the admin can add posts.

The image function currently disabled due to a mis-use of the ability and possible whole in the forum security.

Check the Announcements forum for info.

If that was the case I could've just copied the old database back, but I only want the one forum which I accidentally deleted to be accessible only as read only.
