I have a clean install of v3.1sr4 and File Attachment / Upload mod. Everthing works fine (upload/download) but when I try to delete a topic/reply in which I have uploaded a file - the topic/reply doesn´t appear in the forum but the files are still on the server. can anyone give me a hint how
to solve this problem?

the code to delete the uploaded files begins
in the line 47 in pop_delete.asp

you need to actually delete the files of the server manually, either by ftp or by your webhosts control panel.

I know this but...
I thought that I can delete uploaded files using the code which is implemented in pop_delete.asp (line 48 and below)

You can, but the directory needs the correct permissions adding for the IUSR_XXXX account, if the permissions are not correct it will not delete the files

It requires all permissions except Full Control (under win2K)

I have already read the other post about this problem and i think there is a problem of writing permission, so I must move the upload folder to another directory but where can I specify the path for the new folder?



P.S. Now is in root/forum/uploaded and i must move it to root/public/uploaded






you can/must specify the path in UploadEngine.asp (below the line 135 -> '- Function : saveDoc....)
and in pop_download.asp in the line 127
and in pop_delete.asp line 78
