i need to write a little script where people can write articles and it gives it pages and everything. what i was thinking is just have it where they type in a page, then submit the data, and type another page. is this the best way to do it, if i code just have them type in one whole article and it splits it up into pages then that would be great.
also if i have them just do seprate pages, would this kind of be setup just like the messages in this forum?

I would be inclined to submit pages seperately, trying to split it correctly in code is difficult, as the code does not know the context of the document, but it is not impossible, you could also take the whole article and display it in a scrolling window instaed of paging it, or you could have a special tag which the user inserted when they wanted a pagee break, lot's of ways really.
