Hi Forum Gurus,

Hope some of you can help me out with this. I would like to setup my forum with totally controlled access. ie. They have to login to get the access to the forum.

Can you please tell me which are the files that I edit to do this kind of setup. Basically I'll be using only DB Authentication.

I'll be really obliged if you can help me out with this problem. I have seen this kind of setup somewhere but cant makeout myself.. need your help.

This is a funciton of the forum setup.
When creating a new forum the selection would be under 'Author Type.'


This is an option also
Global Login
Just depends on how much security you need.

simonduz, where'd you get the code for Only Admin/Moderators can reply, Everyone can reply, and Only Admin/Moderators can Post/Reply???

i need that. i am going to use the poll mod that lets you have a poll in a message and want only admin/moderators to be able to start a poll but everyone can reply.

this would be a big help.
