In my forum, I have changed "reply with quote" as simply "reply", and it works for most of the people, but for few people, they still can use "reply with quote" function, which means they still go to the orignial script. I really don't why? Can anyone help me out?? Thanks.

I don't understand what you are trying to achieve by doing that. Do you want to get rid of the "Reply With Quote" option?

Yes, I want to get rid of that option, so I have followed Richard Kinser' instruction to change it to reply without quote. http://forum.snitz.com/forum/link.asp?TOPIC_ID=12067
It works really well for most of the people, but for quite few people, when they reply, the quote still show up in the message box. It looks like they always go to the previous topic.asp, which I haven't made any changed. Does this problem come from their ISP or what? Thanks.

Thanks, Here is the link you can try: http://www.queerbbs.com/link.asp?TOPIC_ID=500 I have changed the code, so, when they reply using , the quote was not supposed to show up in the message box. And it it true for most of the people, but probably 1 out of 20 people still can see the quote show up in the message box.

It might be possible that they are using a cached copy of the topic.asp file. Can you point to me an example of where they did a quote of someone's reply?
Also, just to let you know, they could press the reply button, use the in the post.asp page, and copy and paste the reply from one of the posts.
Did some of your users tell you that they can still use the "Reply with Quote" function, or did you see someone post a message with a quote in there?

Actually, it's because I saw some users still got the quote funtions, so I asked them where they got the function, and they told me the "reply with quote" function is still there. So, I asked a lot of people to try. There are only 2 or 3 users still can see that functions. I just asked one of them to reply to that test topic again: http://www.queerbbs.com/link.asp?TOPIC_ID=500 He replied using , not in post.asp.
In the beginning, I thought the problem may come from their isp, and it will be ok few days later. But it have been 3 days already. I really don't get it.

hmmm, it works ok for me. Can you ask that user to copy the html source code of that same page that he see's the "Reply With Quote" function and send it to you as a .txt file? Then you can post a link to it here so i can look at it.
I would think he probably might be using a cached copy or something.
Does he see the function in every topic he posts in, or is it just that one?

Yes, they see ReplyWithQuote in every topic. I think they do use a cached file. Because I also changed some other script, most of the people can see what I have done, but there is always quite few people won't see the change. It's been almost a week, they still go to the old cached file.

Finally, I got the source code from my friend. After I checked it out, it did show replyQuote in the script: <a href="post.asp?method=ReplyQuote&REPLY_ID=6354&TOPIC_ID=451&FORUM_ID=13&CAT_ID=1&Forum_Title=%B5L%B3d%A5%F4%B4%FA%B8%D5%B0%CF&Topic_Title=%A5%BB%AEy%B1M%A5%CE%B0%CF&M="><img src="icon_reply_topic.gif" height=15 width=15 alt="¦^À³¤Î¤Þ¥Î¤å³¹" border="0" align="absmiddle" hspace="6"></a>
I have taken "quote" off the script almost a week ago, but they still go to the old cached file. I really don't know what to do. It really drives me crazy.

Did you ask them to refresh the page to see if they still get the "Reply with Quote" function? What browser and OS are they using?
Just trying to see if there is a difference with thier configuration.
