Has anyone, or is anyone working on developing a mod, which will allow a user to upload a zip or other file with his/her post???

Many code sample/developer sites using this forum, and ones who are considering it, may like this idea.

Of course, this will rely on an upload component (or slow pure asp script), but I think the trade-off would be worth it!!!

Also, If someone posts to the wrong forum, is there a mod which allows posts to be moved to another forum???

Thanx for any help!!!

see here: http://forum.snitz.com/forum/link.asp?TOPIC_ID=4850

You can already move Topics that people post in the wrong forum. You must be logged in as Admin or the Moderator of the forum the post is in. Just edit the message and choose the correct forum in the dropdown box that is on the Forum line.

well.. thanks for telling me about moving posts to another forum... cheers...

The file upload mod does not work... I've followed the instructions to the letter, installed the mod commander, and tried to run the mod_dbsetup.asp file... which returns a 500 server error!!!

Cheers...

Sounds like you might not have access to the FileSystemObject

Also, if you should uncheck "Show friendly HTTP error messages" in Internet Explorer so you can see what the real error is.
