Hi

When I try to update the bad word filter with more than one word, I get the following message

"Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e14'

[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] Syntax error in string in query expression ''bad|word''.

/forums/snitz/admin_config_badwords.asp, line 71"

Anyone any ideas?

No, the pipe is the required seperator for the words. Are you entering it like this:

bad|word

or like this:

bad|word|

are you putting the quotes? If so, that's the problem.
