with mods like the active user mod my access database grows in size very fast. (a 7 MB file has about 12 MB after 4 days). a "compact database" function would be great, like in this newssystem here:

Why is the active user mod growing your database? If this is true, it's gone from my board. I haven't noticed the effects yet I guess.

The newer versions (v3.2a6 for example) has the Compact Database option under Admin/Forum Archival selection.

Do not download and add the archiving MOD, atleast not to archve anything, there are some major bugs in it's functionality which have not been updated yet.

The compactdb will be released as a mod after the next release, and the archive mod will be updated

I think that has now been fixed, but will check. The main problem with the archive download is that it duplicates topics, and looses some replies. I just haven't had time to issue the updates, still working on getting 33 ready for release
