I have a question i hope someone can help me with. I got my forum all setup and its awesome. Although when any posts or replies to a topic where a person requests to be emailed is submitted it gives this error:
Server object error 'ASP 0177 : 800401f3'
Server.CreateObject Failed
/forum/inc_mail.asp, line 164
Invalid class string

For now to get rid of this error goto: Admin Options --> Email Server Configuration and turn off the email function.
Next, you'll need to find out what e-mail components are available on your server. If you don't know you can download a utility that checks for e-mail components that are supported by Snitz Forums here: Click Here
Then if it finds that one is intalled, go back to the Email Server Configuration setting and select that email component from the dropdown box, enter the correct info for the mail server and e-mail address, select On and then submit the changes. |
