The url isn't being converted properly. Can you post a link to a txt version of your inc_functions.asp file?

I don't know where you got this version of your inc_functions.asp file but there a lot bugs in there that has been fixed in the SR4 version. I did a compare on your file with the inc_functions.asp file from the Snitz Forums SR4 release and and there were a lot of major differences, which would lead to the url not working in your forums.
Where did you download the forums from?
Go here http://forum.snitz.com/specs.asp and download the Snitz Forums 2000 v3.1 Service Release 4 file. You can use the inc_functions.asp file out of it, but if you're using an older version of the forums you might want to upgrade.

What still isn't working? the same problem you had before with the url?
went to your forum and I'm getting this error:Microsoft JET Database Engine error '80040e10' No value given for one or more required parameters.
/dinistie/forum/inc_functions.asp, line 1268 Are you using the database that came in the zip or some other database?

No no. You need to extract all the files from the zip into your forum folder. You're using an older version of the forums. The inc_functions.asp file would be incompatible with the rest of the forum. Meaning, it won't work. You have to re-install the forum with the new files.
