I can log on locally over the network and it will let me log in as mod admin or whatever. I can also do this from work but when I am at a friends house and try to log in, it will do it's thing and say it was successful but when it takes me back to the forum after the log in it doesn't show me logged in. At the top it still wants user name and password. And I have tried it on both comps that my friend has and get the same thing. I figure it has to be something on her end since I can log on at home and at work but I have no idea what this could be. I setup both computers there and I did nothing different than what I did to my own. I am running IE6 at home IE5.5 at work and IE6 at friends house. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

IE6 has some new security features which are probably blocking the cookie being set on your friends computer.

I have IE6 here and it works fine. and she is on other forums and doesn't have this problem. Don't know if they are Snitz though.

Even if the cookie wasn't set on her comp wouldn't she be able to log in? She would just have to do it everytime she went to the forum, right?

Nope, if the cookie isn't being set, then they can't login.
